Are you tired of trying to remember to drop off your water payment? Are you tired of spending your time, gasoline, and postage to pay your water bill? The City of Walterboro offers the service of automatic payment of water bills by bank draft. The service will be provided at no charge, and the customer will never receive a penalty for a late payment!

Important information concerning your Utility bill:
- The office hours for the Finance office are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- A night deposit box is located beside the entrance to the Finance Office for your convenience. Any payments deposited in the night deposit box will be credited to the account on the next business day.
- The cost to initiate water service is a $50 refundable deposit.
- Water bills are due and payable in the Finance Office by upon receipt on the first of the month. A late fee of 10% is added if payment is not received by the 25th of the month.
- A $10 late charge is applied on the 16th of the following month for delinquent accounts, and an interruption of water service may occur on the next day or soon thereafter. A cut-off processing fee of $30 will be automatically added to your bill on the 17th.
- The service charge for returned checks is $25.
